Cancellation and Refund Policy
Effective date: August 14, 2026
This policy applies to paid SignalShield subscriptions offered by SignalShield LLC. Canceling stops renewal. It normally does not end already-paid access. An approved full refund is different: it ends paid access immediately.
1. Canceling a subscription
You can cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal. Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal. It does not automatically issue a refund or shorten a billing period that has already been paid for.
2. Monthly billing
Monthly subscriptions are billed one month at a time. After cancellation, paid access normally remains available through the end of the current paid monthly period. The subscription does not renew after that date.
3. Annual billing
Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for one year. After cancellation, paid access normally remains available through the end of the prepaid annual term. The subscription does not renew after that date. Canceling an annual plan does not by itself create a prorated refund.
4. 14-day refund window
A paid subscription charge is eligible for a full refund when the request is received within 14 calendar days of that charge. The refund is limited to the amount actually paid. After 14 days, charges are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
5. What an approved refund changes
An approved full refund ends the associated paid subscription and paid feature access immediately. This prevents a fully refunded annual subscription from remaining active for the rest of the year. A partial billing adjustment does not automatically end access and requires separate review. Stripe and the customer’s bank or payment provider control how long the refunded funds take to appear.
6. How to request a refund
Contact SignalShield support using the email address associated with the account. Include the plan, charge date, and a short explanation of the request so the payment can be located. Canceling in the billing portal alone is not a refund request.
7. Legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits refund, cancellation, or consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. Where the law requires a different outcome, the legal requirement controls.
